Beautiful London Themed Gift Idea’s

Blog post

It is hard to believe that I will be celebrating my 3 year anniversary with Mr Sparkles in July. It has been such a quick 3 years and we have been through more in those 3 years than probably most couples go through in their entire life.

Life has been particulary difficult over the past few months and Mr Sparkles has been such a tower of strength for me that I really wanted to show him exactly how much he means to me with a lovely anniversary gift.

Now Mr Sparkles is THE world’s worst person to buy a gift for. Every birthday and Christmas when I ask him what he would like I am met with a shrug and a non committal “meh”.

Nightmare right?

I don’t know if I have mentioned on the blog before but Mr Sparkles loves London and we have taken quite a few trips there over the past 3 years – one of which was even on the Caledonian Sleeper which even I was excited about. I wrote a post on it if you fancy having a nosy ….

I had in the back of my mind that I would like to get him a gift with a London theme but avoiding all the tacky tourist stuff when an email popped in from The Old English Company inviting me to try out one of their products.

Talk about good timing! Within 2 minutes of browsing their lovely website I came across this beautiful London Print that I knew would look perfect in a frame and hung up in Mr Sparkles man cave.

As a wee joke I also chose this London Map Tea Towel in a bid to encourage Mr Sparkles to dry the dishes more! He is very good at washing them but sadly not so good at drying them … a task which always falls to me! I love the fact that it is the same pattern as the print and also fits in perfectly with our kitchen decor.

The Old English Company have so many lovely gifts to choose from that I am sure you will have no problem at all finding the ideal gift for even the fussiest person in your life. Just as I was completing checkout I spied this wee card and of course it had to be mine!

Believe in Unicorns Gift Card

Have you ever shopped with The Old English Company before? If not I really recommend that you pop over and have a nosy … You will be spoiled for choice!

What great gift ideas! I really love the print, it would look perfect framed in my study – I’m from London and as I don’t live there anymore it would be nice to have a little reminder of my favourite city!
